Life is a gamble, fraught with risk.
It gives us the power to chase what we want.
A new job, new opportunities.
The power to decide fate, all in a coin flip.
There will be those who stop short,
Those who decided not to gamble at all.
And in their outstretched palm, a chance, so sorely missed.
A chance they failed to seize.
It will not reward those not playing at all,
It only pays out to those who give it their all.
Such is the conundrum of human life,
To exist one simply needs to do nothing,
To live one must take a risk.
