I feel so lost when you’re not there
And then I want to be lost with you when you’re here,
To an island we would go,
Deserted and alone.
No worries of the world.
No pressures from society.
But for now this train ride with you
Is another disappointment to notch to my list.
So I sit here listlessly,
Staring as the raindrops
Fall and fly across the window pane.
Despite the doom and gloom
The sun finds a way to break through
A dazzling rainbow lines the sky,
Complete from beginning to end
And I imagine your smile
To be just as breathtaking.
